S Chand Publishing launches educational initiatives aligned with NEP 2020, NCF 2023

S Chand Publishing, a prominent name in educational content and publishing, has introduced a range of educational initiatives, each aimed at revolutionising the educational experience for students in their foundational and preparatory years. These programmes are claimed to be thoughtfully aligned with the objectives outlined in both the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) of 2023, according to an official release.

The initial offering from S Chand is the ‘Bob and Bini’ series, a collection of textbooks specially designed for young learners in the pre-primary stage. These Bob and Bini textbooks are crafted to nurture early education and development, laying a strong foundation for the academic journey of children, the release mentioned.

The second offering is ‘Solid Steps Curriculum.’ The main focus of this is on building foundational literacy and numeracy skills. This curriculum seamlessly integrates both activity-based and play-based learning approaches, with a keen emphasis on instilling ethics, promoting collaborative learning, nurturing human values, and establishing real-world connections to subjects. Its primary goal is to facilitate structured learning, enhance conceptual understanding, and foster cognitive and emotional growth among students, as per the release.

S Chand also claims to offer a specialised series called ‘S Chand’s Headlights’ for those eager to explore specific subjects in greater detail. These individual series are dedicated to core subjects like English, Mathematics, General Awareness, World Around Us and Hindi, catering to students from grades 1st-5th, it added.

“Our Solid Steps Programme, Bob and Bini, and S Chand’s Headlights embody our commitment to revolutionising education. They are designed to transcend traditional boundaries, aligning seamlessly with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023. We believe in nurturing not just academic excellence but holistic development in students,” Jitendra Agnihotri, Business Head, S Chand, said
